In November, the Cantiamo girls, myself included, were lucky enough to get the opportunity to billet and sing with the Les Choristes Womens’ Choir from Western University. Their older voices and added years of experience made for a more mature sound which we strove to match. Having the older choir to model ourselves on helped us to unlock more of our own choir’s potential and develop a more mature sound.
Singing with Les Choristes was one of the most memorable experiences I have had during my choral (admittedly short) career and I am very grateful to have had such a wonderful time.
