Lift Our Voices will feature all four levels
of the Cantiamo Choirs of Ottawa, which includes choristers ranging in age from
5 to 18! Hear our Primary Choir share their movement and music; hear our
Training Choir sing songs familiar and new; hear our Apprentice Choir demonstrate
diversity in song styles; hear our Girls Choir express rich harmonic textures
and colours! AND, hear the world premiere of “I Will Be There” and
“Song Sisters” written for Cantiamo by the renowned Canadian
composer, Mark Sirett.
Led by Founding Artistic Director, Jackie
Hawley, with fellow conductors Leslie Bricker, and Kathy Goodsell. Accompanied
by our extraordinary pianists, Teresa van den Boogaard, and Dian Wilke.
