Laulumme – Our Song will feature songs performed by the Cantiamo Girls Choir of Ottawa, the Les Choristes Women’s Choir from Western University and special guest EVA! The Helsinki-based EVA-trio consists of three musicians: Essi Wuorela (vocals) who is also a well-known member of the Rajaton acapella music group, Anna-Karin Korhonen (kantele) and Vesa Norilo (cello). The band, founded in 2009, performs its own bold and swinging arrangement of classical folk-songs from Finland. Come and enjoy an evening of Finnish folk music and choral favourites in the beautiful setting and acoustic of Dominion-Chalmers United Church.
