Cantiamo Choirs of Ottawa consists of 4 choirs: Cantiamo Girls Choir, Cantiamo Girls Apprentice Choir, Training Choir, and new as of 2018, the Primary Choir. Registration is now open for our 2018-2019 season and continues into early September. However, we encourage you to contact us at any time if you feel you may be interested in joining Cantiamo. The best way to get to know us is to attend one of our concerts, Open Houses, or one of our rehearsals.
If you are new to us you will soon learn that Cantiamo is more than just a choir. We love to sing and perform high-calibre, interesting and diverse music, but we are also a “community” of like-minded voices. We believe in the importance of choral education, of providing an opportunity for young people to learn, perform and be challenged in a supportive environment, and to share this insight and confidence as they graduate through the various choirs of Cantiamo.
Our motto is: Music. Leadership. Community We strive to incorporate this motto into our choral training, our mentorship program, our performances, and our participation in the greater music education community.
Cantiamo Girls Choir: Ages 13-19, Girls Only. By Audition or Invitation to Join.
