Voice on the Wind

The 15th Anniversary concert of the Cantiamo Choirs of Ottawa will feature performances by all three choir levels of the CCO – Cantiamo Training Choir, Cantiamo Girls Apprentice Choir and the Cantiamo Girls Choir.

Repertoire will include a wide variety of pieces, with TWO World Premieres by Canadian composers! Laura Hawley’s piece Salutation to the Dawn is a stunning setting which so effectively reflects this profound text. Donald Patriquin’s Girl is a harmonically luscious piece, featuring soloist Ellen McAteer (Cantiamo alumna) and cellist Thaddeus Morden. We are very pleased to welcome these fine musicians to our concert.
